Our Story

Connor and Cassidy’s story began over a decade ago, in 2012, when they first met as young members of the Saskatoon Children’s Choir. For three years, they sang and travelled together, but life eventually led them in different directions. After their time in the choir, they drifted apart, and it would be nearly a decade before life brought them together again.

When they reconnected in 2022, what started as catching up quickly turned into late-night conversations, creative collaboration, and an unmistakable spark. As they wrote music together, their connection deepened in a way that felt both new and incredibly familiar.

Connor was drawn to Cassidy’s warmth, her thoughtfulness, and the way she saw the world with so much heart. He admired her creativity, her laugh, and the quiet strength she brought into every room. It wasn’t long before he was reminded how special she was. Cassidy, meanwhile, found playfulness yet comfort in the kind, steady presence Connor had grown into—someone who made her feel truly seen and understood. He felt like home.

By March 2023, what rekindled as friendship had blossomed into something more—helped along by Connor’s gentle persistence—and both of them fell hard. By that August, Connor already knew he wanted to spend his life with Cassidy, and the search for the perfect ring began.

On April 5, 2024, during a memorable trip to Hawaii with some sneaky plans, he asked her to marry him. Just one month later, they took another step on their journey together by buying their first home, with plans to fill it with laughter, music, and dreams for the future.

Now, they’re so excited to celebrate the next part of their journey surrounded by the people they love most!
